I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons for over 20 years now and love how it brings friends old and new together for an experience unlike any other. When I came to a point in my life where I really needed to be doing something new (July 2019), Kristie (my wife) suggested I start making supplies for tabletop gaming out of wood. I'd dabbled in woodworking a bit and liked the idea of it so we moved ahead with that. We actually decided if we were going to do this that we would want to turn it into a business.
That idea was really really scary but also exciting at the same time. Buying the quality hardwoods I wanted to make my items out of would be very costly, not to mention the woodworking tools. Putting your ideas and products in front of people is also scary because they could totally reject you and tell you you're no good at it. It's exciting however every time I send something out into the world. It sounds TOTALLY cheesy but it literally feels like sending a small part of myself to explore new places and meet new people. We've absolutely loved getting to connect (however so short) with our customers and how kind everyone we've met has been. We are seriously blessed.
Quickly we realized that the dice were by far the most popular items we had available, so we decided eventually to focus mostly on dice, and spend less time on the woodworking although it was my first passion.
