Mixed sets are one of a kind! They may have minor flaws such as mismatched paint or cloudy resin in a few pieces, though most pieces will be perfectly fine. These are one-of-a-kind mixes and a fun way to mix and match color schemes you love! Grab one while you can as once they are gone, they’re gone and there will never be another set exactly the same.

You will receive the exact set in the picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

How balanced are your dice? Can they truly be balanced with items inside?

Dice made from resin are the most balanced (besides precision made metal). Most of our collection is made from resin, those made from acrylic may have slight imbalances but shouldn't be noticeable during use. Dice sets such as our skull dice are actually pretty darn balanced! The items inside such as skulls and shells are actually filled with resin in order to maintain a specific density and weight distribution. Our manufacturer performs balance checks and we also perform checks randomly to ensure that each type of dice meets our expectations for random rolls...however since each dice piece is unique there will be some variation. - ALSO - Balance isn't the biggest factor in dice rolls- YOU are!

Where do your dice come from? Do you make them yourself?

While we make all our wooden products by hand, in order to provide quality dice at an affordable price we get dice from several dice manufacturers. We design many of the dice sets ourselves, with a lot of effort put into the details. It takes several months to years to bring a dice set to life from concept to creation.

We handpick the dice we feel are the most high quality and interesting, then create a unique and interesting backstory and qualities for each. We have a lot of fun creating something new with each set and put a lot of effort into it! It's very important to us that each item we offer be fully in the spirit of the role playing games they are for.

What are the facilities like where your dice are made?

We work with small teams of people to make our own designs. Our main producer has less than 50 employees. The majority of the work is done by hand but machines may be used to make parts of the production go faster. An example of this would be a barrel polisher-which is just a big drum that moves unfinished dice pieces around inside in a way that sands them down to a smooth finish.

We also hand make dice in house, in very small quantities. Most of what we make by hand are custom commissions where people come up with their own design and we try to make that a reality. Our business is made up of me, my husband, & my sister. We do all the packing, shipping, woodworking, and computer work

I've seen similar dice for sale by other shops, are they stealing your designs?

Many dice shops purchase dice & other gaming supplies from the same dice making companies. While we work towards filing our shop with our own exclusive designs, and hand made dice in house, we must currently buy small batches of dice in order to offer a selection we feel is appropriate. We are the one's who come up with the name, pictures, backstory, packaging, and theme for each dice set despite not physically making it. In this way we can fit the dice sets to our unique brand and vision.

Our kickstarter dice and exclusive designs are designed by us and made by a small dice production company. Handmade dice are designated as such and made by us in our shop.

What sets your shop apart from other dice sellers?

-
We are based in the USA

We are a micro company. We have only 2-3 people doing all the work from packaging to woodworking.
We have had a vision since day one to fill our shop with our own exclusive designs.

We try to craft a story for each dice set and are selective about the designs we put in our shop. We have amazing photography
We make all our gorgeous wood trays by hand in our workshop from premium quality wood

We plan to make handmade dice and take commissions after COVID dies down

We try to be as eco-friendly in our process as possible and use paper packaging which is easily recyclable or compostable

We love to make customized orders, take requests, and work with our customers 1 on 1

Do you take Commissions?

Right now we are sadly not able to offer customizations or commissions. We just have so much going on with COVID and family that it just isn't the season for us. We totally want to though, and plan to in the future! We do still offer custom MIX sets using the dice we have pre-made :)

Adventurers Woodworks

We originally started our small business with handmade woodworking. The dice however quickly took over as the most popular items and soon took over all the space as well. We want to keep our business small and in the family- so after much consideration we decided to let the woodworking fall into the background and focus on what is most popular. We decided to change our name from Adventures Woodworks to d20Adventure in January 2022
